Oh well, out of boredom, I decided to venture into gardening. At first, I was a little hesitant to begin with it since I don't have really an amazing green thumb. Yeah, we have plants at home but I seldom take care of it as my sister was there to always look for them. Yup,Its a new experience and I'm glad that my mom-in-law helped me into this. We went to a flower shop and she picked out the flowers that were good for a neophyte in gardening. She chose Roses of different colors and Petunias which I believed were amazing. I have been envisioning the outcome of my first garden.
After, I bought my gardening stuff, I readied myself to start my own little gardening. Under the heat of the sun, I started to plow and plow, I was unmindful of the time as i was really busy doing my stuff. After all the Roses were done, I started planting my Petunias and before I knew it, I was done and was happy to know that I did it.
After 2 weeks, my Roses were starting to perked up and so were my Petunias. Lovely, such a wonderful accomplishments.

NCIS (promoted as Navy NCIS in season one), aka Navy NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service or NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service, is an American police procedural television series revolving around a fictional team of special agents from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, which conducts criminal investigations involving the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
I have been really glued watching crime series,NCIS, for the past few months. My hubby introduced me into this and since its my first time here in US, so why not. That was last May, and up until now, never missed the chance to watch it. Although, right now, its a repeat episodes but still the same, never had the chance to watch it while i was in the Philippines so it doesnt make a difference. Everyday, at about 5 pm to 8 pm, i find time to be in front of the tv and watch it.
When i was in the Philippines, never really cared about crime series since its not popular back there, all i watched was drama series, since thats the "in" back there. So watching, NCIS, is a totally refreshing new series to look forward to which is come this middle of September, NCIS will have a new season and im so looking forward to watch it. :)
This past few days had been a tough time for both of us. So much had happened that i dont want to dwell anymore, but still cant help to think about it. There are lots of what ifs for these moments, and this might not happened if only we were thinking ahead. But hell no, we were busy thinking of something else that we forgot to think of some very important stuff and now the damaged has been done.Oh well, i guess we learned something from our mistake and I hope August, would be a good month.
i am used to warm weather since thats the climate i grew up with. In the Philippines it can get as high to 30 degrees Celsius or even more but i didn't mind about it. We didn't have any air conditioning to lessen our burden from the heat. Instead, we hit to the beach and splurged ourselves in the water and the let the cool run into our body. It was bearable and i sure like it.And then I got here, at first it was cold and then summer came which just started last sunday (June 21,09) and boy it was so hot. The warm weather is so different back home. In less than a minute that i was out, i was sweating all over and getting darker which i could care less. The temperature has been between 85 Fahrenheit to 100 Fahrenheit. Well, theres still 2 months ahead and am I looking forward at it?Well, i should say yes since the winter would be very, very, very cold and its my first time too.
Its been over a month now since I arrived in Toledo but up until now I still cant believed that I am here with my man. After all the visa process and the tantamount of problem with the papers, its nice to know that the experience was worth it.
Anyway, ever since I got here, I felt that I moved in to another planet. It so different here compared with my native place. The place, the weather, the transportation, the food, the people, the way of living...i can still name a lot. :).
So far, everything is okay. I am able to adjust one at a time. I still miss home back in the Philippines but this is my home too. A home where we will build our own family.
After the tedious journey. It is still amazing to know that we are done.I got my visa last April 16,2009.
Thank you Lord!
April 07,2009, i had my interview with the US consul and after so many months of patiently waiting the word that we have been dying to hear she said that my visa is approved. Thank you so much Lord.I cant wait to see you B
